Kale & Eggs


Kale was not the focus here; Bean had bought some to use in his soup and I threw in a leaf or two. But it was the only ingredient I haven't tasted before! I let stew some:

olive oil
basil
parsley
onion
garlic

lil' red wine
many chopped mushrooms
asparagus
(kale)

and then when it was a'simmering, I cracked an egg in it. Was yum. We also tried a new wine.


Drip, drip, drip.

  1. Kale kale kale kale kale. It is the most wonderful thing ever. I will be emailing you a bunch of kale recipes. Even chopped up and mashed into potatoes, it's just the most amazing thing. My little sister eats it raw, loves how sweet it is!

    Can't believe I've never had it. They even grew it in our fields as a "scientific experiment". The pizza dough was not-so-good, though, Bethers.

    WE NEED LESS WHOLE WHEAT!
